For prolonged life of your boat cover, you must take care of it by keeping a few things in mind. Our fabric is resistant to surface growth of mildew, but it should not be folded and stored wet. Any dirt or bird droppings that can support the growth of mildew that result in staining should be cleaned thoroughly at regular intervals.
If you notice any surface rub-off, it can easily be removed with vinyl cleaner or mineral spirits. You can use buffer strips for areas where vigorous scrubbing action will occur during towing. A cleaning solution of 4 ozs. of Clorox and 2 ozs. of soap in one gallon of warm (100 degrees F) water is the best to clean your Top Gun Boat Covers.
Use only a soft-bristled brush to clean off anything. Don't use any kind of detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clear water to remove debris, soil, or any other dirty substance. Apply Aqua-Tite silicone water repellent after your fabric has dried completely. Avoid usage of any other refinishing agents as it may damage the coating and void the warranty.
